Budget Bathroom Update

When Josh and I bought our home in 2019 we were THRILLED that it had a finished basement. The basement has great bones – large rec space with a bar, a work out room, a bedroom and a bathroom. Though the bones are good – the finishes are a bit dated.

In 2021 we’ve made it our goal to start to chip away at some of these finishes and make them a little less 1999 and a little more “us”.

Our first step is updating the bathroom. The previous homeowner’s teenager lived in the basement, and there was some wear and tear on the bathroom. The vanity had seen better days and there was a large wooden cabinet over the toilet that was chipped and an eye sore.

All of the updates we made to the bathroom totaled less than $500!
